Prior to founding Solomon, Jeff founded MXenergy, a nationwide energy marketing company which at the time of its sale to Constellation in 2011 served 650,000+ organically-grown residential and commercial customers. MXenergy billed 235,000 customers monthly in Georgia, Texas and New York.

Prior to MXenergy, Jeffrey served as Managing Director of Sempra Energy Trading, a subsidiary of Sempra, one of the largest US utilities.

Earlier in his career, Jeffrey served as Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he managed the energy futures trading desk. He also was Chief Counsel to J. Aron & Company, the commodities trading division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and was an attorney at the Wall Street law firm of Barrett Smith Schapiro Simon & Armstrong.

Mr. Mayer is also Executive Chairman of Oasis Charger Corporation a.k.a JuiceBarEV, a US-based manufacturer of electric vehicle charging stations.
